The Mendocino Works Employment Resource Center is a convenient one-stop service center with access to a variety of community services and information. We specialize in employment and training, and can help you find a job or explore a new career.
There are four Employment Resource Centers located throughout Mendocino County. Each center has a Resource Specialist waiting to help you with your job search activities. Our friendly staff is available at all times for assistance.

Computer Stations
Available for your job search, career exploration, resumes and cover letters, each computer workstation has several options available to you. You can search for local, statewide or nationwide jobs on MS Word for Windows Research & Information, better known as ERISS.
These computer stations are user-friendly. There are always Resource Specialists nearby to assist should you need some help.
Job Board
MPIC's job board has regular postings of available job openings throughout the county, as well as postings for workshops, events, and training. Always available are current countywide newspapers to help you in your job search.
Resource Books
A complete library of resource books are available. Topics range from job hunting tips to communication skills. For a listing of the available titles, click here: Resource Books
Resume and Cover Letters
Everything you need to write a great resume and cover letter are available to you at MPIC's Resource Centers, plus:
Win-Way Resume is a computer program that helps you to create you own resume, cover letter, even help with answering interview questions. You can save your resume on a disc and/or print it out on nice resume paper.

ERISS-Employment Research & Information Supply System is an occupational information system program, designed to allow people quick and easy access to occupational descriptions and definitions, detailed labor market information, training providers, employers, and more - all in one place. An ideal way of navigating through the ever-increasing sea of occupational data.
